The stone is beautiful, but it is definetly more of a decoration and less of a 'stepping stone' due to the raised embelishments. I think if you were to actually step on it, you would crack the gems. Other than that, it is detailed and has rich colors. Great addition to a decorative garden.

I bought this for my grandmother for her birthday - as she likes dragonflies and is an avid gardener - assuming she would put in one of her gardens. I agree with the reviews that have stated it is more of a decorative piece, looking at it I don't know how good an idea it would be to actually step on it. My grandmother actually put it up on the wall on the front of her house (as more of a plaque) and it looks wonderful!

This item was purchased on behalf of a guest visiting family and their reaction to the re-invention of the backyard.
They wanted to get stepping stones - so I screen shot the page in Amazon and they chose this and another.
I would not think by looking at it though that it would be prudent to actually 'use' it as
a 'real' stepping stone.
The couple who were presented with it - loved it and it is hanging on a old fence in the yard surrounded by crawling ivy and frankly looks like it was made for the location.
It provides a little razzle dazzle and surprise.

Love this stepping stone, great colors and has a nice weight to it. It also comes with a hole on the back for hanging if wanted. Would look beautiful on a wall, but I have mine living in my front garden. Wish they had many more like this one! So far just a hummingbird one which I have not purchased myself.
